With the magicolor 2590MF Konica Minolta now equips smaller work groups and home office users with total and professional office capabilities. At an affordable price, the magicolor 2590MF offers the full range of functions: it copies, prints, faxes and scans – all in full colour laser quality. Thanks to its small footprint and low-height design, the highly productive all-in-one solution is as much at home on one’s personal desk as at the company secretary’s office.

 

Printing and copying has been made fast and professional with the magicolor 2590MF. Even high-quality print jobs can confidently be handled inhouse. At a print speed of 5 pages per minute, the magicolor produces high-definition colour picture quality with a resolution of up to 2400 x 600 dpi. In the monochrome printing mode, 20 pages per minute can be completed. An optional automatic duplex unit also helps to reduce production times, just as it cuts down costs.

For convenient and fast photo printing the magicolor 2590MF features a PictBridge interface allowing any PictBridge compliant digital camera to be directly connected to the machine. Pictures can be printed without a PC and further special functions let users even edit and manage their photos independenet of a computer. Apart from PictBridge, 10/100BaseT Ethernet and USB 2.0 ports provide flexible office connection options.

 

Its capabilities as a specialist for scanning are based on its PaperPort SE software. Document scanning is TWAIN or WIA protocol supported; all scans can be saved as JPEG, TIFF or PDF and can either be integrated in selected applications or attached to an email with smooth SMTP authentication. For faxing, the magicolor 2590MF provides ECM/Super G3 capability. Thereby, it can effortlessly handle a small workgroup’s full faxing volume.

 

The magicolor 2590MF works in a variety of environments including Microsoft Vista and Macintosh. Managing it is also made easy and convenient, even from a distance: with the aid of PageScope Web Connection users can keep track of paper and toner levels, email configuration, network and fax settings right on their PC.
